My name is David Newey and I'm a photographer. I have been taking pictures since I remember. I got this from my father who was a photographer in World War II and he brought it home and I got the bug from him. I have two years of college in art and photography at Chaffee Junior College in Cucamounga Ca. Following college I moved to the South Bay of Los Angeles and worked as a Studio Photographer shooting Weddings for several studios there. I have done a lot of work doing live stage photography with bands and groups. Most of that was with high speed black and white film but today digital cameras make this ever better than it ever was with film.
I love shooting people at events and parties. Since I relate to people so well I often bring out the best in them and capture that. I call this "Portraits on the Go".
For my personal pleasure I enjoy landscape photography. I find it difficult to go anywhere without a camera, for fear "I might miss a great one". I have taken some really great pictures and love what I do.
